Is this really no additional cost for me? How can that be?
Yes! Livongo is available at no additional cost to you. Even shipping is included! We can do this because your employer or health plan completely pays for the program on your behalf. You are not billed anything for joining Livongo.

What Happens After I Enroll in the Livongo for Hypertension Program?
After you enroll, you will be shipped the Livongo Welcome Kit that includes the Livongo connected blood pressure monitor. The instructions included will walk you through getting set up and taking your first reading. You will be asked to also download the Livongo mobile app. Once you’re connected, the monitor will automatically send readings to the app, where you can track your progress, share reports with your doctor, and more!

How Do I Know My Blood Pressure Readings Are Accurate?
The Livongo blood pressure monitor has been validated by an independent organization. Measurements taken with this device are considered equivalent to those obtained by a trained healthcare provider using the gold standard method, cuff and stethoscope auscultation.

What Happens After I Take My First 5 Readings?
After you take your first five readings, the Livongo app will display your baseline blood pressure reading. You will also receive a personal health report with your blood pressure readings to share with your doctor or a Livongo coach.
Continue to check your blood pressure according to your doctor's recommendations or at least every 2 weeks.

What If I Don’t Finish My First 5 Checks?
If we have enough data from the checks that you did complete, we can still determine a baseline blood pressure. If we do not, you can start your five checks over again.

Who is Eligible to Enroll in Livongo for Hypertension?
Initially, this program is only open to a small group of members. If you have received an email invitation, are enrolled in the Livongo for Diabetes program, and have been diagnosed with hypertension, you are eligible.
If you have not received an invitation to enroll in the Livongo for Hypertension program and are interested in enrolling, talk with your employee benefits manager.
The Livongo for Hypertension program will be available to more members in late 2018.

How Much Does the Program Cost?
The program is offered at no cost to you through a partnership with Livongo Health and your employer or healthcare provider.
