In your first session, you and your coach will get to know each other. You’ll start building a relationship and identify areas you’d like to focus on. We want to learn about you!
Set goals
During every session, you’ll set goals that are meaningful to you and learn skills to help you reach them. You’ll also review the goals that were previously set to check in on your progress and identify any challenges.
Celebrate wins
As you work with your coach, you’ll get ongoing support as you bring the skills you’ve learned into everyday life. Your coach will help you find solutions for anything that’s getting in your way and celebrate your wins—you deserve it!
Communicate with your coach between sessions
If you have questions or need extra support between sessions, you can send a message to your coach anytime. Messages can be sent through the message center on the upper right corner of the website or mobile app. Coaches typically respond within 1-2 business days, although you may have to wait a bit longer on weekends or holidays. Your coach can provide additional support, share digital activities that are relevant to you, and help keep you on track toward your goals.
How your coach can help
Your mental health coach will help you focus on your goals, overcome challenges, incorporate skills into your daily life, and celebrate your achievements. Coaches are not there to judge you; they are there to support you and hold you accountable to put you on the right track. Your sessions with a mental health coach provide a space to discuss your goals, what is working for you and what is not, and how to reach them.
