When you get started with the mental health program, you’ll first complete a mental health assessment. Based on everything we learn about you, we’ll create a personalized plan to give you the support that best fits your needs. Your plan will include a recommended focus area and support that is appropriate for you (for example, you might get recommended coaching, therapy, digital resources, etc.).
Why did I get recommended a particular self-guided program?
On your Mental Health Home screen, you will find a self-guided program that focuses on a topic we’ve recommended for you. Our members are often looking for support in more than one area, so you’ll also find additional activities further down your home screen that address the full set of concerns you’ve shared.
How do I change my recommended focus area?
When you first get your plan as part of the onboarding process, you’ll have the option to choose a different focus area than the one we recommend. Once you arrive at the Mental Health home screen, you’ll see your self-guided program. You’ll still have access to our entire library of self-guided programs in the Explore section.
Where can I find resources on topics other than my recommended program?
Navigate to the Explore page and select “Explore All” at the bottom. You’ll find resources on issues ranging from depression, anxiety, improving sleep and reducing stress to drug or alcohol recovery and processing grief. In addition, we provide support for particular populations, like first responders, members of the LGBTQ+ communities and their allies, new and expectant parents, and people who are experiencing racism.
If you’re working with a mental health coach, you can continue with your recommended focus area or the two of you can decide to work on something else.
What happens when I finish my self-guided program?
Once you finish your program, you can continue to explore any of our other topics in the Explore library.
Where can I view the work I’ve completed in my self-guided program?
To view your past activity responses, go to the History section on your Mental Health home page via the app or website. Select the activity you would like to view and choose the “View previous answers” button.
