You can join your scheduled therapy visit through your Teladoc Health account. Follow these simple steps to prepare and join your virtual visit!
Before your visit
- Check your settings
- If this is your first time using Teladoc Health for therapy, check to make sure your device or computer is set up properly.
- Check camera and microphone permissions by clicking the lock icon on the left side of the URL bar and allowing access.
- Open settings on your app, click on the Teladoc Health app, scroll down, and grant permission for the microphone and camera.
- Make sure your internet connection and Wi-Fi are strong.
- If you are disconnected during your visit, your therapist will call you at your preferred phone number.
- Don’t forget to complete your assessment

When it’s time for your visit
Before joining your therapy visit, find a quiet and comfortable place where you can speak freely.
- Join your visit through the app
- Click the “Join” button at your scheduled time.
- Once you click “Join” you will be sent to a space where you wait until your therapist enters the waiting room.
- It may take some time to get into the waiting room, but your provider will let you in.
- You can message your therapist through the chat if they do not let you into the room within 5 to 10 minutes. If you no longer want to wait, you can cancel the visit and select Waited too long for the provider to join.”
