Employees, along with their spouses and dependents of all ages, are eligible to enroll in this program if the employee works for one of our partner companies and has company-provided insurance as their primary insurance provider. The program aims to support individuals who are seeking to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Why am I being offered the Weight Management Program?
This program is being offered to you as an additional health benefit by your employer. Your employer recognizes that eating well, getting active, managing stress, and sleeping better are important parts in reaching a healthy weight. The Weight Management Program will provide you with the resources you need to manage your weight and your overall well-being.
What is the Weight Management Program?
The weight management program was created by dietitians, doctors, and behavioral scientists. This program is designed to help you build lifelong healthy habits. The 25-week guided content course, connected scale, food tracking, and unlimited access to coaching and other features to help you achieve and maintain your goals. The guided content courses dive into topics like sleep, macros, and strength training. But it also covers the latest in behavioral science so that you can learn how to build healthier routines and make lasting change. Lessons feature self-reflections, pro-tips, quizzes, and weekly missions. The best part? You can use it on the go in our mobile app or on your computer at home. Need a little extra help? Partner with a coach for one-on-one support. And if you’re on GLP-1 medication, we have additional guidance just for you. Here’s how you can get started!
What should I expect after enrollment?
Once enrolled, you will receive a welcome kit in the mail within 3-5 business days. The kit contains:
- A connected scale
- 2 AA batteries
Download the Teladoc Health app to your mobile phone from the Google Play store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS). When your kit arrives, you will be guided through how to set up your new scale and connect it to your app. As soon as you get it, follow the steps in the user guide to activate it. The scale will automatically upload your numbers to your Teladoc Health account.
How much does the program cost?
The program is offered at no cost to you through a partnership with Teladoc Health and your employer or healthcare provider.
